About the program

The Center for Sustainable Environment and Education CSEE Hyderabad is conducting a Two Month Online Summer Internship Program titled Unlock the Power of Satellite Data Applications in Climate Science AI ML and Visualization The internship will run from 17 May to 13 July 2025 with sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 12 PM in online mode The program is designed for students researchers and faculty interested in satellite data climate change and data analysis Participants will learn satellite data acquisition from sources like INSAT MODIS VIIRS and Landsat and gain skills in time series analysis spatial analysis artificial intelligence and machine learning They will also work on data visualization using Python MATLAB Google Earth Engine and Excel Expert mentors include Dr G Ch Satyanarayana from KL University Dr Shaik Darga Saheb from India Meteorological Department and Dr D Srinivas from NCMRWF Ministry of Earth Sciences The registration fee is 3000 and participants will receive an e certificate after successful completion To register visit www.csee.in or contact 7037733026.

Terms of Engagement

Eligibility This internship is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, and faculty members from relevant disciplines including environmental science, engineering, data science, and allied fields. Duration and Mode The internship will run from 17 May to 13 July 2025. Sessions will be conducted online every Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 12 PM. Attendance Requirement Participants are expected to attend all live sessions. A minimum of 75 percent attendance is required to be eligible for the certificate. Project Work Interns will be assigned hands-on exercises and a mini project. Completion of the project work is mandatory for certification. Certification E-Certificates will be awarded only to participants who meet the attendance and project completion criteria. Internship Fee A non-refundable fee of INR 3000 is to be paid at the time of registration. Payment details will be shared upon registration. Code of Conduct Participants must maintain professional behavior during the internship. Any form of misconduct or academic dishonesty may result in removal from the program without certification. Resource Access Interns will receive access to study materials and software platforms, which are strictly for personal academic use and not to be shared or distributed. Technical Requirements Participants must have access to a computer or laptop with internet connectivity, and basic familiarity with digital tools used in remote learning.
