About the program

This project aims at extending Chat UI with RSC from Vercel AI SDK From the Vercel AI SDK The introduction of function calling with language models like GPT35 has paved the way for tailored interactive user interfaces that the language model decides to render Leveraging React Server Components and Server Actions the AI SDK seamlessly integrates interface rendering capabilities through the airsc package You can use models that do not support function calling with airsc by emulating structured outputs like JSON or directly streaming their outputs Goals 1.Refactor Chat UI molecule so that it works as RSC 2.Redo Documentation to move to RSC 3.Stretch goal allow for both RSC and traditional rendering of components Expected Outcome Chat UI molecule already includes all the basic components needed for building a great chat interface But they are not tree shaken and sent all at once currently The outcome of this exercise is fast streaming frontend with reduced upfront JS download
