About the program

The objective of this ticket is to create an extension that will take in a stream of events in the BHASAI Telemetry format and convert them to OTEL Traces specification push them to Jaegar and create UCI based dashboards out of it The context propagation will happen through either sessionId or messageId Goals MidPoint Milestone Goals 1.Develop an extension to convert BHASAI Telemetry format to OTEL Traces specification 2.Integrate the extension with Jaeger for trace visualization 3.Create UCIbased dashboards for monitoring and visualization 4.Ensure compatibility and seamless integration with existing telemetry systems 5.Midpoint Milestone Extension developed integration with Jaeger completed initial UCIbased dashboards created 6.Documentation on how telemetry should be structured to maximize the impact of tracking 7.Filtering of events based on certain criteria Expected Outcome An extension capable of converting BHASAI Telemetry format to OTEL Traces specification integrated with Jaeger for trace visualization and UCIbased dashboards for monitoring and visualization purposes Acceptance Criteria 1.Extension successfully converts BHASAI Telemetry format to OTEL Traces specification 2.Integration with Jaeger allows for trace visualization 3.UCIbased dashboards are created and functional 4.Compatibility with existing telemetry systems is ensured Implementation Details Develop a converter to translate BHASAI Telemetry events to OTEL Traces Integrate the converter with Jaeger for trace visualization Design and create UCIbased dashboards for monitoring telemetry data Test and ensure seamless compatibility with existing telemetry systems
