About the program

The Sibsagar Municipal Board was constituted in the year 1916 and at present it has 14 wards. As per the census of 2011, Sivasagar ULB had a population of 50781 and total households are 10569. The original town area widened to 10.95 sq.kms. The PMSVANidhi is a Central Sector Scheme to facilitate street vendors to access affordable working capital loan for resuming their livelihoods activities, after easing of lockdown. The intern is responsible for on boarding the street vendors in coordination with lending institutions and DPAs, responsible to organize Financial Literacy Camps for street vendors, communication and coordination with lending institutions for disposal of loans and also to update data in prescribed data base and PMSVANidhi portal. Any other related task or work assigned by the authority.
