About the program

Brief: This 1 month internship is about Solid Waste Management and implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission.. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs is proactively innovating various new programs for holistically engaging the youth of the country with the Mission. SBM (U) TULIP Internship Program has been conceptualized for strategically engaging youth of the country to participate in the urban reform process at City, State and National level. The Mission seeks to engage students and fresh graduates from academic and technical institutions for supporting the National Mission Directorate, States UT Urban Development Departments, and the cities in programmes interventions under SBM-U 2.0. SBM-U TULIP internship has been integrated into the existing TULIP platform with the intent of engaging the youth of the country in the urban development trajectory of India. The internships will leverage the existing architecture of the TULIP platform to engage students as interns across the focus areas of the Mission. The intent of the SBM-U TULIP internships is to craft a mutually beneficial ecosystem for both the prospective students as well as the State UT Urban development departments and the ULBs engaged in the implementation of the Mission.
