DHANBAD MUNICIPAL CORPORATION is one of the largest ULB of Jharkhand in terms of area and population. It consists of 55 wards and is serving population more than 13.5lakhs .Its headquarters is present in Luby Circular Road ,Dhanbad. DMC is present in core heart of district head quarter of Dhanbad. Dhanbad is well connected with railways and roadways. Only 1.5km from Dhanbad railway station and 1km from bus stand. This internship provides you with an overview of the municipal solid waste management,understanding regulatory and legal aspects, technical aspects( collection,transportation,processing and disposal),financial aspects, environmental aspects ,social aspects and citizens grievance handling system. This internship attempts to familiarize in-depth onsite various steps involved in solid waste management . Responsibilities of Interns to follow rules and regulation as per ULB officers, Maintain discipline during site visit,take note sheet , time bond task completion and wear formal dress . Relevant Skills are Any one BA,Bsc,BCom,Btech,BE as per TULIP guidelines
