About the program

Responsible for the daily operations of the plant, including the Solid Waste Management Plan, equipment, department employees, Household Hazardous Waste and recycling programs. Attends technical training sessions to improve knowledge of state and central regulations and solid waste management. Assures that solid waste plant operations are completed in accordance with the approved budgets and plans. Evaluates data, plans, trends and issues concerning solid waste disposal and the operation of the solid waste management . two years experience is required in solid waste management or environmental studies.
