About the program

Trippunithura Municipality is inviting applications for 'The Urban Learning Internship Programme as part of Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihoods Mission Kudumbashree is the nodal agency for implementing the NULM Project in Kerala The Urban Learning Internship Programme is an internship programme jointly being implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and All India Council for Technical Education The aim of the internship programme is to learn the poverty eradication activities in Urban areas under DAY NULM to benefit both the Urban Local Bodies and the interns alike Presently there are 3 openings in Trippunithura Municipality for this internship program for 2 months.period Those who are interested in doing this internship in Trippunithura Municipality first need to register on the TULIP portal AICTE Internship Enterprise Portal The interns will be selected based on the rank list prepared from the applications shortlisted and interviewed. The selected interns should sign a contract with the Secretary Trippunithura Municipality Candidates selected for the internship will be entitled to a certificate from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and a stipend of Rs 8000 per month It will be given after completing the internship and submitting the report along with 60 days attendance Educational Qualification is Masters in Social Science having Development Studies or Interdisciplinary, Master of Social Work or MA in Sociology or MA Economics from a recognized University completed with in 36 months

The intern will get an opportunity to learn about the scheme, the concept of the program, and its objectives. Will get an opportunity to liaison with stakeholders ULB, Community, and beneficiaries. Will get a broad idea of the interventions of Kudumbashree and the urban Ministry in addressing the livelihood of Urban Poor. Will get an idea about the prevalent market scenario in the ULB. Will get an idea about the developing strategies and trends in the field of various DAY NULM Components

3. are available for duration of 2 Months
4. have relevant skills and interests
