About the program

MoHUA has launched The Urban Learning Internship Programme TULIP in association with AICTE with the intention to match opportunities in ULB with learning needs of fresh graduates. Kudumbashree is the nodal agency of the project and is responsible to implement the said programme at municipal level. One of the main components of Natonal Urban Livelyhood Mission is Self Employment Programme. Interns are assigned to study the effectiveness of the component in urban poor. The inters must posses Indian Citizenship and Auxiliary members from Kudumbashree are given priority. Those who have completed their studies and got placement will not be eligible. Graduates not more than 36 months should have passed from the date of declaration of final year results to the date from which the internship is sought

Perks

Through intership programme interns gain a realistic view of urban government system and acquire hands-on work experience. They are able to integrate academic course work with practical application & skill development. Also they got connection with various professionals and have a short term exposure to fresh graduates to enhance their professional development through experiential learning with ULB

Who can apply?

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are from Masters of Social Work,MA,MA,MA,,
2. and specialisation from Not Applicable,Sociology,Economics,Development Studies,,
3. are available for duration of 2 Months
4. have relevant skills and interests

Terms of Engagement

The Terms of Engagement Will be as per TULIP Handbook and TULIP Guidelines
