About the program

About the Internship Deendayal Antyoday Yojna National Urban Livelihood Mission, is an ambitious urban poverty alleviation programme of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs MoHUA GoI The programme is being implemented in all states and UTs In Chhattisgarh, the programme is implemented in all 168 ULBs including Ambikapur Municipal Corporation As per the project mandate, urban poor women are mobilized into SHGs to build strong institutions of the poor The programme was launched At Ambikapur Municipal Corporation 717 SHGs has been formed Many of the SHGs are linked to varied livelihood activities and there are still many who are yet to be linked to livelihood activities Responsibility The intern is expected to develop business plans for 50 SHGs and develop their capacities and provide them handholding support so that these SHGs can start and manage their enterprises Qualification An MBA or MSW or M Com from a recognized University (Regular Course only) who have passed out duration should not be more than 2 Years Should communicate should be well versed in Hindi and English and knowledge about local language (Surgujia) would be an added advantage

3. are available for duration of 12 Weeks
4. have relevant skills and interests
