About the program

As a social mobilization and institutional development intern for Self-Help Groups (SHGs), your job role would involve supporting and facilitating the mobilization of communities, strengthening SHG institutions, and promoting their overall development. Engaging with local communities to create awareness about the benefits and importance of SHGs. Conducting outreach activities, organizing community meetings, and fostering relationships to encourage community participation and support for SHGs. Providing training and capacity-building support to SHG members. This may include workshops on group dynamics, leadership development, financial management, bookkeeping, decision-making, and other skills necessary for the effective functioning of SHGs. Your primary objective as a social mobilization and institutional development intern would be to empower and strengthen SHGs as effective and sustainable community institutions.
