No, the PRATIBHA process is entirely a digital process end-to-end and applications for the program will be accepted online only.

After completing the application on the PRATIBHA platform, the candidate can apply for internship requirements at a given point of time. Once candidate is screened/shortlisted, he/she may be invited by the Local bodies/States for an interview. The interview may be an online or offline one. The candidates selected through the interview and will be issued the offer letter digitally. The candidate may then choose to accept or reject the internship offer on the portal itself. The offer letter will also enclose a digital undertaking.

Under PRATIBHA, the goal is to connect incoming candidates with opportunities across the country that allow them to improve upon their functional and technical skills. For this, candidates may be shortlisted based on locational preference, qualifications and academic record. The final selection will be based on the interview with the Local body/Districts/States/UTs.

A Govt. issued identity proof (Driving License, Election Card, etc.), proofs of academic qualifications and a letter of recommendation from academic mentors of the student are the basic requirements for an internship for PRATIBHA. Further some opportunities would require a synopsis to be submitted which may be specified by the Local bodies/Districts/States in the internship posting.

There will be an undertaking stating all the norms, rules and code of conduct that the candidate is expected to follow during the internship period. A undertaking will be providing along with the offer letter, that you will have to accept to pursue the internship.

There is a document and video manual available in the AICTE internship portal landing page under the Resources section. The manuals can help the candidate in the registration, filling up personal details and applying for internships.

There is a template synopsis that will be made available to the graduate on the platform. The question in synopsis is descriptive in nature and checks the inspiration for joining the program, your contribution to the Rural area and how you will use this internship in your career path. The template synopsis is generic and applicable to graduates from all courses and streams.

The synopsis can be requested or not based on the requirements for application by the Local bodies/ States/UTs Also, the Local bodies/ States/UTs can provide a different set of questions based on their requirement for graduates.

PRATIBHA platform supports provision of virtual internships. However, due to the nature of the task internships might require the candidate to be present on the premises of the Local bodies/ district leval or in the field. So, Local bodies/ States/UTs when posting an internship will mention if it is a virtual internship opportunity or not.

The interview will be conducted online & offline both, for providing greater convenience to the candidate & the Local bodies/ States/UTs. In case for any change in mode of interview please request the concerned Local bodies/ States/UTs.

All Programmes/Offices/Local Bodies connected with MoRD and MoPR. Other Ministries may also be allowed to join on a case-to-case basis.

A PRATIBHA nodal officer will normally be the reporting officer for the interns, which may vary in cases depending on how a Local bodies/ States/UTs structures its internship program. If you require any information or have any queries regarding reporting requirements you can direct it to the concerned Local bodies/ States/UTs. We encourage you to discuss the same in the interview process.

The Selection and Review Committee of the State will review progress of every intern periodically and conduct an assessment at the end of Internship.
