About the program

Cyber security is the practice of protecting computer systems, networks, and digital information from cyber threats, unauthorized access, and malicious attacks. In the modern digital world, organizations, governments, and individuals rely heavily on the internet for communication, banking, education, healthcare, and business operations. This increased dependence on digital technology has also increased the risk of cybercrimes such as hacking, phishing, malware, ransomware, and identity theft. Cyber security helps to safeguard sensitive information and ensure the safe and reliable use of digital systems. The primary goals of cybersecurity are to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, commonly known as the CIA triad. Confidentiality ensures that sensitive data is accessed only by authorized users. Integrity ensures that data remains accurate and is not altered or tampered with by unauthorized persons. Availability ensures that information and systems are accessible to authorized users whenever required. Cyber security includes several areas such as network security, application security, cloud security, and information security. Common security measures include encryption, firewalls, antivirus software, secure passwords, and regular system updates. Effective cybersecurity practices help protect personal privacy, financial data, and organizational resources from cyberattacks and digital threats.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are from B.Tech. / B.E./ Equivalent
2. and specialisation from Computer and information Science,Computer Engineering,Computer Engineering and Application,Computer Hardware and Networking,Computer Science and Engineering,Computer Science and information Technology
3. are available for duration of 2 Months
4. have relevant skills and interests

Terms of Engagement

The intern is expected to actively participate in all assigned training sessions and project activities during the internship period. The intern must maintain discipline, follow the guidelines of the organization, and complete the assigned tasks within the given deadlines. Regular attendance and active communication with the mentor are required throughout the program. The intern should maintain confidentiality of project data and organizational information. All work submitted by the intern must be original and should not involve plagiarism. The organization reserves the right to evaluate the performance of the intern based on participation, task completion, and project quality. Upon successful completion of the internship and submission of the final report or project, the intern will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion. Failure to follow the terms or maintain satisfactory performance may lead to termination of the internship.
