About the program

Next Afield Solutions and Networks is offering a Project Based Learning Internship in Basic Quantum Computing for students who are interested in exploring the fundamentals of quantum technologies and their applications in modern computing. This internship program is designed to introduce students to the basic principles of quantum computing including quantum bits qubits, quantum gates, superposition and quantum algorithms. Interns will learn how quantum computers differ from classical computers and how quantum systems can solve complex computational problems. During this internship students will work on small projects and simulations using beginner level quantum computing tools and frameworks. The program focuses on hands on learning and understanding fundamental quantum computing concepts through project based activities. Key Responsibilities Learn basic concepts of quantum computing and quantum information Understand qubits, quantum gates and quantum circuits Work with beginner quantum computing frameworks and simulators Implement simple quantum algorithms and simulations Analyze results from quantum simulations and experiments Prepare documentation and presentations for project work Required Skills Basic knowledge of programming such as Python Understanding of mathematics and logical thinking Interest in quantum computing and advanced technologies Basic knowledge of linear algebra or physics is an advantage Curiosity to explore emerging computing technologies Internship Duration 4 to 12 weeks Mode Remote internship with project based learning mentorship and regular progress evaluation.

Terms of Engagement

This internship program is conducted for educational and skill development purposes. Internship completion certificates will be issued to interns who successfully complete the assigned project and internship requirements.
