About the program
QTalents is looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Transcription Intern to convert audio and video recordings into accurate written text. The candidate will be responsible for listening carefully to recordings and producing high quality, error free transcripts within the assigned time frame. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible working hours and payment on an hourly basis. Key Responsibilities Listen to audio and video files carefully. Convert spoken content into clear, accurate written text. Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting. Complete assigned work within the given hourly time frame. Submit completed transcripts for Quality Check QC. Revise and correct transcripts if QC accuracy standards are not met. Quality Standards All transcripts must meet 95 97 accuracy during the Quality Check QC process. If the transcript does not meet the required accuracy level, the intern must revise and resubmit the same work. Revisions will be considered part of the original assignment and will not be treated as additional paid work until the required QC percentage is achieved. Eligibility Criteria Own laptop mandatory. Stable and reliable internet connection. Good listening skills and attention to detail. Strong written English skills grammar, spelling, punctuation. Ability to focus and work independently. Accuracy Standards: Defines the required accuracy percentage, often requiring high-level precision for professional or legal contexts. Speaker Identification: Requirements for identifying different speakers throughout the audio/video. Timestamping: Guidelines on how frequently timestamps should be added 2. Confidentiality and Security NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement): Strict clauses forbidding the distribution or sharing of audio/video files and completed transcripts. Data Handling: Protocols for storing and transferring sensitive data, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. 3. Timelines and Deliverables Turnaround Time (TAT): Specific deadlines for delivering the completed transcript, often varying based on the length of the audio. Formatting Guidelines: Specifications for font, margins, and file formats 4. Compensation and Payment Rate Structure: Usually based on per-audio-minute or per-word rates. Payment Terms: Details on when and how payment will be issued (e.g., weekly, upon completion). 5. Revisions and Quality Assurance Revision Policy: Procedures for addressing errors or omissions found by the client, often requiring corrections within a specific timeframe.
