The role involves tracking financial markets economic data, and corporate developments, and providing accurate, realtime inputs to anchors, producers, and analysts for live television and digital platforms. Track equity markets Sensex, Nifty, sectoral indices during market hours Monitor global markets US, Asian, European cues Prepare premarket and postmarket research notes Support live shows with realtime data, facts, and alerts Verify data from reliable sources before broadcast Assist producers and analysts with background briefs and explainers Coordinate with graphics and digital teams for databased stories

Terms of Engagement

This role is full-time / internship-based (as applicable) and aligned with 24×7 news operations Candidates must be willing to work rotational shifts, including market hours and occasional night shifts Engagement is performance-driven; continuation and role enhancement depend on accuracy, speed, and reliability The researcher will operate under the supervision of the Business News Producer / Desk Editor All research, data, and content generated during engagement will remain the intellectual property of the organization Strict adherence to editorial ethics, data accuracy, and confidentiality policies is mandatory External trading, market tips dissemination, or conflict-of-interest activities must be disclosed and approved The organization reserves the right to assign duties across TV, digital, and research desks as required Completion of engagement does not guarantee on-air exposure, which is based on editorial discretion Experience letter / certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the engagement period
