About the program

The Green Skills and Applied AI for Climate Action Centres of Excellence COE by 1M1B in partnership with Microsoft aims to build Indias AI driven climate workforce by engaging 100000 youth in Artificial Intelligence and green skills and providing 50 percent of them with access to opportunities while nurturing over 500 AI powered climate use cases by 2030.The Green Skills and Applied AI internships are offered under this initiative. Students will begin their journey through the Bootcamp session. Upon completing the bootcamp students will undergo an assessment and receive a Bootcamp Completion Certificate. Based on the assessment results qualified students will be shortlisted for the 70 hour deep dive Climate Action and Applied AI Internship. During the internship students will work on a climate or sustainability linked project and develop a tangible output such as a dashboard prototype analytical model or solution framework. Students who successfully complete the required learning hours, project submission and evaluation criteria will receive an Internship Completion Certificate and may be considered for further access to opportunity pathways. The 1M1B Applied AI and Green Skils Internship is a structured project based internship for students. The internship is designed to build practical capabilities at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence Data Analytics Green Skills and Environmental Sustainability Selected students will work on climate and sustainability linked problem statements analyse datasets develop dashboards or AI enabled prototypes and present their solutions through a final showcase The onboarding of the interns will be done cohort wise on a rolling basis

Terms of Engagement

Applications submitted through the AICTE internship portal will receive an email invitation for a 60-minute introductory webinar After attending the webinar and completing the assessment shortlisted applicants will be notified within 5 working days The internship is in hybrid mode with live projects implemented on the 1M1B Centre of Applied AI and Climate Action Lucknow Preference will be given to students interested in sustainability and analytical skills Any content created during the internship will belong to the program
