About the program

This internship project focuses on developing an intelligent healthcare system capable of predicting skin cancer using deep learning techniques. The system analyzes dermoscopic skin images and classifies them into different categories of skin cancer using Convolutional Neural Networks CNNs and advanced image processing methods. The project aims to assist medical professionals in early diagnosis, improve prediction accuracy, and support efficient healthcare decisionmaking. Interns will gain handson experience in machine learning, deep learning, medical image analysis, Python programming, Keras and Pytorch, and model deployment techniques.

Terms of Engagement

Terms of Engagement The intern will actively participate in the development of the project titled “Skin Cancer Prediction Using Deep Learning for Healthcare.” The internship duration, tasks, and milestones will be communicated at the beginning of the program. The intern is expected to maintain professionalism, discipline, and timely completion of assigned work. All project-related data, source code, and research materials must be treated as confidential. The intern should regularly report progress and attend review meetings or mentoring sessions. The work completed during the internship should be original and free from plagiarism. The organization reserves the right to evaluate performance based on participation, project contribution, and final outcomes. Upon successful completion of the internship and project submission, the intern may receive a certificate or recommendation based on performance.
