About the program

The Big Data Business Management Internship is a 60 hour experiential learning program designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of data driven decision making in business environments. This program focuses on building foundational skills in data analysis, business intelligence, and structured problem solving through a combination of guided learning and practical application. Participants will explore how organizations use data to understand trends, optimize operations, and make strategic decisions. Through expert led masterclasses, IBM SkillsBuild self learning modules, and hands on project work, students will gain exposure to real world datasets and business scenarios. The program follows a structured 60 hour learning model comprising 15 hours of live masterclasses, 15 hours of guided self learning, and 30 hours dedicated to project building. During the capstone project, participants will analyze business problems such as customer behavior, sales trends, or operational efficiency, and develop actionable insights supported by data. By the end of the internship, students will be able to clean and analyze datasets, create dashboards, and present data backed recommendations, preparing them for entry level roles in analytics and business domains.

Terms of Engagement
