About the program

The purpose of this course is to provide pharmacovigilance stakeholders with an understanding of what VigiBase is, the data it contains, how this information can be accessed, and how it is protected.VigiBase, the World Health Organization global database of adverse event reports for medicines and vaccines, holds over 40 million reports from WHO PIDM members as of February 2025. This oneofakind global resource supports the safer use of medicines and vaccines worldwide by helping members identify safety signals not visible from their data alone.
