About the program

The AICTE Software Testing internship provided a comprehensive understanding of software quality assurance and testing methodologies. The program focused on ensuring software reliability, performance, and functionality through structured testing processes. During the internship, I learned the fundamentals of software testing, including manual testing techniques such as test case design, test planning, and defect reporting. I gained knowledge of different testing types, including functional testing, nonfunctional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing. I also explored automated testing concepts and tools, which helped in improving efficiency and reducing manual effort. The internship introduced me to testing tools and frameworks used in realworld scenarios, enabling me to understand how automation is applied in software development. A key part of the internship involved working on realtime projects, where I created test cases, executed them, identified bugs, and reported defects. This practical exposure helped me understand the complete software testing life cycle STLC and how testing fits into the software development life cycle SDLC. Additionally, I learned about bug tracking systems, documentation practices, and quality standards followed in the industry. The internship also enhanced my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problemsolving skills. Overall, this internship strengthened my knowledge of software testing concepts and prepared me to ensure software quality in realworld applications.
