About the program

The Lenovo LEAP Foundational AI Internship Program is a 60hour learning initiative designed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills in Artificial Intelligence. Through expert led master classes, Lenovo LEAP courses, and guided projects, participants will gain hands on experience in AI fundamentals, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Chatbot Development, and Prompt Engineering. The program bridges the gap between theory and application, fostering innovation, problem solving, and digital readiness. Upon completion, students will be prepared to design and develop intelligent AI driven solutions aligned with India s vision of a skilled and future ready workforce. Program Structure 60 Hours Total 10 Hours Expert led Masterclasses Interactive sessions conducted by AI professionals, focusing on foundational and tools, and workflows. 20 Hours Lenovo LEAP Self Learning Modules Curated courses and assignments to strengthen conceptual understanding and practical knowledge. 30 Hours Capstone Project Guided project work where participants design and build a real world AI powered application, applying the concepts learned. The internship comprises mentor-led learning sessions, practical project work, self-paced certification modules, and a final capstone submission. It offers an excellent opportunity for students of Goa from all academic disciplines to acquire foundational skills in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. This program is supported by Directorate of higher education, Goa and offers a free-of-cost internship.

Terms of Engagement

The Foundational AI Internship Program will commence on 8 December 2025 and will be conducted over a duration of eight weeks. Attendance in all mentor-led sessions is compulsory for participants. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon the successful fulfilment of all program requirements, including active participation and final project submission. The internship is open to Goa students from all academic backgrounds who wish to build foundational skills in Artificial Intelligence.
