About the program

Mahagenco Koyna Generating Station Complex, Pophali is the largest hydroelectric power plant in India. Presently total capacity of Koyna Generating Station Complex is 1956 MW comprises of Stage III power station 470 MW 480MW, Stage III power station 480 MW, Stage IV power station 4250 MW and KDPH power station 218 MW. The internship program is to understand the core process related to Electronics Telecommunication and Instrumentation Engineering aspect used in hydroelectric power plants. Interns have opportunity to understand the Importance of Electronics Telecommunication and Instrumentation and Control Systems in power plant, Analog Digital Instrumentation used in Power Plant, Calibration of Energy Meters other meters on control panels, Accuracy classes, Measurement of Quantities like Voltage, Current, power, Power Factor, energy, frequency, pressure, temperature, Flow, Level, Flow Rate, Insulation Resistance, Earth Resistance etc., Introduction to Sensors, Flow Switches, Limit Switches etc. Their types, Ro

Who can apply?

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are from Diploma In Engineering,B.Tech. / B.E./ Equivalent
2. and specialisation from Electronics Communication and instrumentation Engineering,Electronics and Tele-Communication Engineering,Instrumentation Engineering
3. are available for duration of 6 Weeks
4. have relevant skills and interests
