About the program

In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding the organizations IT assets by conducting regular vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and weaknesses. You will assist in implementing security measures and remediations to ensure systems remain resilient against cyber threats. Your work will involve configuring and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools to protect sensitive data and network resources. You will actively monitor system and application logs, leveraging Security Information and Event Management SIEM platforms to detect anomalies, flag suspicious activities, and initiate appropriate incident responses. Additionally, you will help establish and enforce best practices for secure data storage, transmission, and communication, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory standards. Collaboration with IT and security teams will be key in continuously improving the organizations cybersecurity posture, minimizing vulnerabilities, and enhancing overall operational security across all technology environments.
