About the program

Internship will offer field exposure to the ongoing and completed irrigation projects. Internship will be consisting of project investigation, survey, irrigation project component design, estimation and costing, preparation of project report, administrative and technical sanction procedure, land acquisition proposal preparation, forest and environmental clearance proposal preparation, draft tender paper preparation procedure, pipe distribution network for irrigation water supply design and execution, flood control management, water availability computation study, hydrological study of projects, quality control aspects of project.

1. are from B.Tech. / B.E./ Equivalent
2. and specialisation from Civil (Construction),Civil and Environmental Engineering,Civil and Rural Engineering,Civil Engineering,Civil Engineering (Construction Technology),Civil Engineering (Rural Engineering),Civil Engineering and Planning
3. are available for duration of 6 Weeks
4. have relevant skills and interests

Terms of Engagement

Duration : 6 weeks and period will be decided by the authority. Responsibilities : As per Govt. rules. Confidentiality : Intern should protect and keep all the information collected confidential. Violation may lead to the legal action against the intern. Compensation : No compensation of any kind like stipend, travelling expenses is applicable. Working Hours : As per Govt. rules Termination : Violation of any govt. rules will lead to the termination of intern without any notice. Code of Conduct : intern should understand code of conduct, policies and rules of govt.
