About the program

This internship is designed to provide students with a practical foundation in Computer Aided Design CAD using AutoCAD, focusing on both 2D drafting and 3D modeling. The program covers essential topics such as technical drawing, dimensioning, layering, isometric projections, and real world design applications in fields like civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural engineering. Students will gain hands on experience in creating and interpreting engineering drawings, enhancing their design and visualization skills. In line with APSCHE guidelines, minimal charges will be collected for the certificate. This track is ideal for students pursuing careers in engineering, architecture, or design, aiming to develop industry relevant CAD skills. The internship includes 120 hours of comprehensive training and offers up to 4 academic credits.
