About the program

The Disaster Management Program is a comprehensive four to eight weeks online training program designed to equip participants with essential knowledge about disaster preparedness and safe building practices. The training also delves into methods of RCC work, the behavior of load bearing walls during earthquakes, and strategies to mitigate nonstructural hazards, providing a well rounded understanding of disaster resilience and safety in construction. The program covers the importance of training, understanding building structures, and identifying disasterprone areas and their impacts. Participants will learn about common causes of structural weaknesses, safety in construction, selecting appropriate building sites, and constructing strong foundations. Thank you.
