About the program

Material Testing Division is working under Maharashtra Engineering Research Institute, Nashik. This is Prime institute of Government of Maharashtra, commonly known as MERI. MERI announce an internship program under this Division, in the field of Testing of various construction material properties as required in Building, Dam, Canal and other hydraulic structures. This Division tries to solve the problems faced in the construction sector of Maharashtra government by researching them. Laboratory tests are conducted on new types of construction materials and new technical systems in the department. At the end of the research by analyzing their findings, it is given for field work to facilitate its use in the work of technology governance. Also in the Division various tests are conducted on various construction materials used in government and private construction sector as directed by Indian standards and the quality, grading of those materials is given.

Who can apply?

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are from B.Tech. / B.E./ Equivalent
2. and specialisation from Civil (Construction)
3. are available for duration of 6 Weeks
4. have relevant skills and interests

Not for placement of any sort in Water Resource Department Education Purpose only The Final decision of slection of candidate and mode of Internship lies with Material Testing Division, MERI, Nashik.
