Job Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail oriented Video Editing Intern to join our media team. The intern will be responsible for editing video content for marketing, social media, and internal use. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about storytelling through visuals and who want to build their skills in video production. Key Responsibilities Edit raw video footage into polished, high quality videos. Collaborate with the creative team to meet project goals and deadlines. Add graphics, music, sound effects, and captions to videos. Ensure proper formatting and optimization for various platforms YouTube, Instagram, etc. Work with feedback from multiple stakeholders to revise and improve video content. Maintain organized archives of media assets and edited files. Assist with video shoots and production if needed. Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with motion graphics tools e.g., After Effects is a plus. Basic knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and video transitions. Understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques. Familiarity with social media and video platform guidelines. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and creativity. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and a willingness to take feedback. Collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn. A positive attitude and passion for visual storytelling.
