About the program

The objective of the WBL programme is to provide an opportunity for SC, ST, EWS, and Women candidates to acquire technical skills in emerging technologies to up-skill their professional career and as per the requirement of industrial needs. C-DAC, Pune offers Work Based Learning Programme in the following domains: 1. Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Deep Learning (AI/ML/DL) 2. Big Data Analytics 3. Digital Preservation 4. Digital Twin and aligned Immersive Technologies 5. Hardware Design 6. High Performance Computing (HPC) 7. Internet of Things (IoT) 8. Industrial IoT (IoT) & Industry 5.0 9. Language Computing 10. Parallel Programming 11. Software Technology (JAVA) 12. VLSI Design 13. Web Development Technologies 14. 5G & 6G 15. Quantum technology 16. VLSI 17. Cryptography 18. Federated Learning 19. Modelling and Simulation of Physical Systems 20. OCR 21. NLP The selected interns will be mentored by the scientists and experts of C-DAC Pune. Number of Vacancies- 8 Nos (SC: 2, ST: 2, EWS: 2 and Women: 2) Number of vacancies may vary, depending on the requirements of the centre. Eligibility: Candidates (SC, ST, Women and EWS category) last 3 year passed out Graduate Engineers or equivalent, M.Sc. or M.C.A., with following specializations are eligible: 1. B.E. or B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Power Electronics, Scientific Computing & Domain Specialization like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc). 2. M.Sc (Computer Science & Information Technology) 3. Master of Computer Applications Note: Students in last year of B.Tech, M.Sc. and M.C.A. are also eligible.

Perks

1. Incumbents would gain rich experience of working on live State Level and National Level initiatives. 2. Stipend- Rs 10,000 per month

Terms of Engagement

1. Only SC, ST, EWS and Women candidates are eligible. 2. Last 3-year pass outs of B.Tech or M.C.A. or M.Sc. and last year candidates are eligible. 3. Candidates in last year of B.Tech, M.Sc. and M.C.A must submit their N.O.C issued by their respective institutes before the interview.
